The MEDuCAN team is dedicated to positioning themselves at the forefront of medicinal cannabis manufacturing technology.
To achieve this goal, they wish to establish a centre of excellence for Aeroponics Vertical Farming and Agrimetrics. Partnerships with renowned universities, such as Cardiff University, have been established and supported through funding to help create state of the art training facilities. Not only will this help create over 100 jobs in the region, but it will also help the company create the UK’s first Centre of Excellence for Vertical Aeroponics Technologies. The University will help create bespoke accredited training programmes to help upskill a generation using Six Sigma Vertical Cultivation Deployment Strategy.
Aeroponic Growing
The AEtrium-4 aeroponic growing system yields 40% more flower bloom growth than soil (like coco-coir). Aeroponics is recognized as the most efficient form of soil-less cultivation known as “hydroponics”. An Aeroponic system naturally increases growth and yield by providing superior nutrient absorption directly into plant roots, kicking photosynthesis into hyperdrive with unlimited canopy growth.
