Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency

MHRA Licensing

The Company will have a full license from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), permitting the manufacture and distribution of medicinal cannabis products and medicines.
The Company will also have the necessary Home Office Licensing for the Manufacture and Distribution of it’s medicinal cannabis products. This will allow the Company to provide patients with access to high quality, affordable medicinal cannabis products.

Certifications

The Company will be certified to the following Standards six months prior to the start of cultivation:
  • ISO 22001:2018 + HACCP Control – Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)
  • ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 – Prerequisite Programmes on Food Safety
  • Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

All certifications will be from a UKAS Accredited Certification Body and subject to both Internal and External Audits on a regular basis. 


The FSMS shall include full Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and be backed up by a fully operational and tested Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) System.
